It is known that the family of selective derivatives is a proper subset of the family of Darboux functions in honorary Baire class two (\textit{DHB}\(_ 2)\). The author deals with the family \textit{DHB}\(_ 2\) and proves: 1) Every \textit{DHB}\(_ 2\) function is pointwise discontinuous; 2) For every \(f\in DHB_ 2\) there exists a Baire one function \(g\) such that the points of continuity of \(f\) and \(g\) coincide and \(\{x:f(x)\neq g(x)\}\) is countable; 3) The maximal additive class for \textit{DHB}\(_ 2\) is the class of all constant functions; 4) \textit{DHB}\(_ 2\) is not closed under the uniform convergence.
