The authors consider a class of positive linear maps in the matrix algebra \(M_ 3(\mathbb{C})\) of the \(3\times 3\) complex matrices, which are generalizations of the Choi maps [cf. \textit{M. D. Choi}, ibid. 12, 95-100 (1975; Zbl 0336.15014)]. Conditions for which such maps are completely positive, decomposable etc. are presented.
