The finite \(p\)-group \(P\) is a \(p\)-nilpotent forcing group if every finite group \(G\) containing \(P\) as a Sylow \(p\)-subgroup is necessarily \(p\)- nilpotent. After developing some theory and quoting some known results, the author determines all 2-nilpotent forcing groups of order dividing 32.
