On the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of nonlinear kinetic equations (Q1191376): Difference between revisions

The asymptotic behaviour of the solution of the perturbed Boltzmann equation in the case when the Knudsen number \(\varepsilon\) is a small parameter is studied. It is known that the system of compressible Euler equations gives a leading term of the asymptotics as \(\varepsilon \to 0\). An estimation of the remainder of the asymptotics \(O(\varepsilon)\) in the \(C\)-norm is obtained.
