It is known that if a semigroup \(S\) is embeddable into a group, so is the translational hull \(\Omega(S)\). The main aim of this paper is to prove that if a semigroup \(S\) is embeddable into a semilattice of groups, so is the translational hull \(\Omega(S)\).
