The authors discuss a generalisation of Honda's theorem, cited in the paper reviewed below, to characters of odd prime conductor \(p\). Here the \((p-2)\)-dimensional analogues of Honda's groups over \(\mathbb{Z}\) are constructed from a subrepresentation of the regular representation of \(\text{Gal}\bigl(\mathbb{Q}\bigl(\exp{2\pi i\over p}\bigr)/\mathbb{Q}\bigr)\).
