A discrete-time strongly monotone dynamical system \(\{T^ n\}_{n = 0,1,\dots}\) on a strongly ordered Banach space is considered. It is assumed that the map \(T\) commutes with a monotone action of a compact connected metrizable group. The main result asserts that, under reasonable additional hypotheses, the \(\omega\)-limit set of a typical trajectory consists entirely of symmetric points (this is points that do not change under the group action). A typical example where the abstract result applies is a second order time-periodic parabolic equation on a symmetric domain.
