The class of pure-projective modules and that of pure-injective modules over a path \(K\)-algebra of an extended Coxeter-Dynkin quiver with no oriented cycle are studied (\(K\) is an algebraically closed field). Several conditions are found under which an extension of a pure- projective module by a pure-projective module is pure-projective. Also similar results for pure-injective modules are proved. There are also some results on the structure of quotients of direct products by direct sums of finite-dimensional modules.
