In the paper under review, the codomain of fuzzy sets is the unit interval and the fuzzy topology contains all constants. Using Shanin's generalization of Wallman's construction [\textit{N. A. Shanin}, C. r. Acad. Sci. URSS, n. Sér. 38, 154-156 (1943; Zbl 0061.396)], the authors construct a good extension of Wallman's compactification for all fuzzy topological spaces. The construction extends the earlier one in fuzzy neighborhood spaces. Moreover, the construction describes explicitly the closed fuzzy sets and a fortiori the convergence of prefilter in the compactification.
