The study is devoted to regularization of the requirement that the interface between neighboring subregions should be discretized by a unified criterion for both subregions, while, in general, for a point on the interface, the error influences from one subregion differ from those from the other subregion. Two examples concerning the two-dimensional Laplace equation are tested to verify the availability of the proposed method.
