The axisymmetric finite deformation of a hyperelastic thin tube containing a steadily flowing viscous fluid and subjected to axial stress with internal pressure and shear due to the fluid is considered. The cases considered are of a single tube and of two tubes joined end on by a collar. Approximations to the fluid flow are assumed and the resulting ordinary differential equations are integrated numerically using coefficients corresponding to blood and artery. Extensive numerical results are presented in graphical form.
