    Pour un espace complètement régulier \(X\), soit \(C_ p(X)\) l'espace des fonctions réelles continues sur \(X\) avec la topologie de la convergence simple. Utilisant l'axiome \((V = L)\), l'auteur construit deux espaces complètement réguliers dénombrables \(X\) et \(Y\) tels que \(C_ p(X)\) et \(C_ p(Y)\) soient analytiques, non boréliens et non homéomorphes. \(C_ p(X)\) contient une copie fermée de tout espace analytique de dimension zéro, tandis que tout fermé coanalytique de dimension zéro de \(C_ P(Y)\) est un \(F_{\sigma\delta}\)-absolu. Il construit aussi un couple analogue \((X',Y')\) où \(C_ p(X')\) et \(C_ p(Y')\) sont coanalytiques et non boréliens.
