\textit{C. W. Onneweer} [Acta Sci. Math. 39, 121-128 (1977; Zbl 0356.43007)] characterized dyadic differentiability of absolutely convergent Rademacher series on Vilenkin groups. The present authors extend this result for gap (of Paley type) Walsh series. Their techniques extend easily to any group of integers of a \(p\)-series field. However, the problem of the extension to Vilenkin groups of unbounded type remains still open.
