[For part I, see the authors, ibid. 83, No. 1/2, 103-117 (1990; Zbl 0717.73036).] A two-component model to account phenomenologically for coexisting different textures of rate-independent and rate-dependent finite deformation plasticity is proposed to predict axial shortening/lengthening and tensile/compressive phenomena in torsion.
