For \(L\) a completely distributive lattice the remote neighbourhood technique introduced by the Chinese school is exploited to obtain a good (Lowen) version of \(L\)-fuzzy paracompactness. This ties up with \(N\)- compactness, being a consequence of it, and a product of a paracompact and an \(N\)-compact space is shown to be paracompact. Such paracompact Hausdorff spaces are both regular and normal.
