    Based on results of \textit{M. Nishio} [Nagoya Math. J. 116, 163-179 (1989; Zbl 0706.35059)] the author discusses a variant of Wiener's test for thinness with respect to the operator \(\partial/\partial t + (-\Delta)^ \alpha\), \(\alpha \in ]0,1[\).
