On the Siegel-Weil formula (Q1314868): Difference between revisions

This work is the continuation of ``Metaplectic Groups and Segal Algebras'' [Lect. Notes Math. 1382 (1989; Zbl 0688.43001)] . Here two sections, \S11-12, are added to the previous notes (containing \S1-10). On the basis of \textit{A. Weil}'s result [Acta Math. 113, 1-87 (1965; Zbl 0161.023)], the author modifies Weil's proof and extends the Siegel-Weil formula to a far larger class of functions. In \S11, various properties of \(G^ 1(X_ A)\) and metaplectic groups are mentioned, \S12 contains the modifications of Weil's proof. This is a supplement for the previous lecture notes, and includes some open question at the end of \S12.
