    The paper is an abridged translation of the author's preprint [Graphs of identities of a completely 0-simple five-element semigroup (in Russian) deposited at VINITI, Moscow in 1981, No. 5558-81)]. It contains a proof that the identities \(x^ 2 = x^ 3\), \(xyx = xyxyx\), \(xyxzx = xzxyx\) form a basis of identities of the five-element 0-simple semigroup \(A = \langle a,b\mid aba = a^ 2 = a,\;bab = b,\;b^ 2 = 0\rangle\).
