A controlled discrete-time bilinear system of a special form is considered. The unforced part of the time-invariant system is assumed to be Lyapunov stable. A generalized form of Kalman-Yacubovitch-Popov lemma is applied to this system to determine its passivity. Then, this passivity property is used to generalize a local stabilization result by dynamic feedback to the global case.
