For the ordinary differential equation \((*)\) \(y''(x) + f(x)y(x) = 0\) four finite-difference models obtained by standard, Numerov, Mickens- Ramadhani, and combined Numerov-Mickens schemes are presented. In the case that \((*)\) is the normal form of the Bessel zero-th order differential equation \((f(x) = 1 + 1/4x^ 2)\), the asymptotic representations of the solutions of these models are calculated and compared to the discrete representation of the asymptotic solution of the differential equation. See \textit{R. Chen} [Phys. Rev. 47 E, 3799-3802 (1993)], \textit{L. G. Ixaru} and \textit{M. Rizea} [J. Comput. Phys. 73, 306- 324 (1987; Zbl 0633.65131)], and \textit{R. E. Mickens} [Difference Equations: Theory and Applications (1990)].
