Scattered Hermite interpolation using radial basis functions (Q1334913): Difference between revisions

The author studies the scattered Hermite interpolation by using radial basis functions. Several classes of radial basis functions, including the multiquadrics, are worked out which may be implemented for this interpolation scheme. These functions are closely related to those described by \textit{C. M. Micchelli} [Constructive Approximation 2, 11-22 (1986; Zbl 0625.41005)].
