We consider the monodromy mapping from the space of projective connections on compact Riemann surfaces to the space of monodromy representations. The Bers' construction of the universal Teichmüller curve allows us to identify the space of projective connections with the total space of the holomorphic cotangent bundle of the Teichmüller space. Under this identification, we prove that the monodromy mapping respects the natural symplectic structures on the two spaces.
