Extensions of \(G\)-mappings in the framework of the category of metric \(G\)-spaces are the main subject of this paper. As special cases one obtains a selection theorem for equi-\(LC^n\)-valued multifunctions and an equivariant analogue of the Kuratowski-Dugundji characterization of a metric \(G\)-\(A[N]E(n)\)-space in terms of the topological properties of sets of \(H\)-fixed points. The results answer some questions concerning \(G\)-retracts published by J. Jaworowski and others.
