The paper presents an asymptotic solution for near-tip field associated with a propagating crack between two dissimilar elastic-plastic materials. The interface is assumed to be inherently weaker than both materials, and therefore the crack would most likely propagate along the interface. The materials are characterized by the \(J_2\)-flow theory with linear isotropic plastic hardening. Stress and displacement continuity is assumed on the boundaries around the tip. The solution is obtained by an numerical procedure. In reviewer's opinion, the paper is not a significant contribution.
