The aim of the paper is to investigate the generalization of Hurwitz (as well as Schur) stability problems to the case of multivariate scattering Hurwitz polynomials with real coefficients. The main result obtained consists in establishing a bijective relationship between multivariate scattering Hurwitz polynomials and multivariable reactance functions, and a certain representation of such functions. The developed results apply to \(n\)-variate strict-sense Hurwitz polynomials, a subclass of \(n\)-variate scattering Hurwitz polynomials, and they can also be adapted for the case of multivariate scattering Schur polynomials.
