Parallel adaptive \(hp\)-refinement techniques for conservation laws (Q1917467): Difference between revisions

The authors present an adaptive \(hp\)-refinement local finite element procedure for the parallel solution of hyperbolic systems of conservation laws on two-dimensional rectangular domains. Their method uses explicit time integration with order and stepsize keyed to the corresponding spatial quantities.
