Effective content of the calculus of variations. I: Semi-continuity and the chattering lemma (Q1919765): Difference between revisions

The authors consider the existence theorem in the calculus of variations. The semi-continuous functions algorithms have been studied, which allows to obtain an effective version of the ``chattering lemma'' of control theory and differential equations. Thus the computational content of the theory of relaxed optimal control can be explained.
