The paper deals with the generation of random points on a rational or non-rational Bézier surface with a prescribed density function defined on the parametric form of a Bézier surface. First, the authors describe different numerical methods to produce rational or non-rational Bézier curves and surfaces. Then, they give an introduction in simulation of random variables and random vectors. The main part of the paper deals with the generation of random points on Bézier surfaces with a prescribed distribution. The efficiency of the introduced algorithms is illustrated by some numerical examples.
