Generalization of a theorem of Chasles (Q1924559): Difference between revisions

The authors consider a result of Chasles about the existence of a particular point, called tangential centre, for a smooth algebraic curve in the affine plane. This point is a generalization of the center of a circle. In this note there is a generalization of this result to curves in \(n\)-space.
