The purpose of this paper is to analyze and compute singularities for the steady Boussinesq equation for a two-dimensional stratified flow. The analysis in this approach shows that constrained surfaces are generally smooth. This is demonstrated by a number of theorems. Finally, numerical experiments are performed for illustration.
