The aim of this note is to describe an application of the theory of Gröbner bases to the study of local cohomology of standard Buchsbaum algebras. The main result yields an interaction between \(\dim_k ([H_m^i (A)]_t)\) and the embedding dimension of \(A\) for all integers \(t\). Examples show that our bounds are sharp.
