Some simple numerical approximation schemes are proposed for the single delay system \[ \dot x(t)= Ax(t)+ A_1(t-\tau)+ Bu(t) \] when the step length is similar to or greater than the delay. An example is presented for a wind tunnel system, with numerical results.
