The authors study the oblique detonation stability by numerically integrating two-dimensional one-step reactive Euler equations in a generalized curvilinear coordinate system. The method is verified on one- and two-dimensional flows with exact solutions, and its ability to correctly predict one-dimensional detonation stability boundaries is demonstrated. The results suggest that curved wall oblique detonations have a stability threshold slightly higher than their one-dimensional counterparts.
