The main result of this paper is a generalization of Roth's theorem, valid in any multivalued field \(k\) possessing a product formula in characteristic zero. The author removes any technical hypothesis from a previous result of \textit{S. Lang} [Fundamentals of diophantine geometry, Springer (1983; Zbl 0528.14013)]. As in [\textit{P. Corvaja}, C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 315, 517-521 (1992; Zbl 0784.11030)], the main tool used in constructing the auxiliary function is an interpolation determinant [\textit{M. Laurent}, Journées arithmétiques, Exp. Congr., Luminy/Fr. 1989, Astérisque 198-200, 209-230 (1991; Zbl 0762.11027)], together with Dyson's lemma in several variables [\textit{H. Esnault} and \textit{E. Viehweg}, Invent. Math. 78, 445-490 (1984; Zbl 0532.10021)].
