This is a continuation of the author's study on Marchuk's model of the immune system. A model containing as variables the antigen, antibody and plasma cell concentration and based on a system of delayed ordinary differential equations is analysed in the cases of small and large reproductive rate of the antigen and when the immune system is ''weak in Marchuk's sense''. The analysis shows that in the case of weak immune system Marchuk's model predicts always lethal end of the organism which is not aggreed upon by the experts in immunology. Based on the results from the analysis, the author concludes that Marchuk's model has serious flaws and is not applicable to all bacterial or viral infections. A short suggestive comment on how to improve the model is made at the end of the paper.
