The author investigate the Rayleigh-Taylor instability of a two-layer system consisting of non-dissipative incompressible semi-infinite magnetofluids under general rotation and uniform horizontal magnetic field. It is shown that the magnetic field contributes with new stable angular areas for which the perturbation may propagate as a travelling wave. Applications to the study of the stability of planetary interiors, in particular of the external core of Uranus, are suggested.
