The system of differential equations \[ \dot x= f_\mu(x),\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^n,\quad \mu\in \mathbb{R}^m \] with an equilibrium \(x_0\) for \(\mu\in\Omega\), where \(\Omega\) is a simply connected open region in \(\mathbb{R}^m\) and \(f\) is sufficiently smooth in both \(x\) and \(\mu\), is considered. The Roth-Hurwitz determinants are used for obtaining a criterion for high-codimensional bifurcations with several pairs of purely imaginary eigenvalues.
