At the Deinze conference in June 1992 Rudi Mathon discovered a new finite projective plane \(P\) of order 16, which is of Lenz-Barlotti type II.1. The paper under review is more or less a collection of tables describing certain Baer and Fano subplanes of \(P\) as well blocking sets, small complete arcs and hyperovals.
