The global superconvergence of a bilinear finite element method is proved for three types of parabolic and hyperbolic problems with integro-differential equations or with a boundary integral condition. A postprocessing technique based on a nodal biquadratic interpolation is used. The authors avoid the use of the Ritz projection method.
