    The paper deals with a RELAXation-based approach implemented for angle, polarization, and waveform estimation of narrowband plane waves arriving at a uniform linear co-centered orthogonal loop and dipole (COLD) array. The presented multistep RELAX parameter estimation algorithm for nonlinear least squares identification from sampled data currupted by random noise requires only a sequence of FFTs and is robust in the presence of spatially coloured disturbances. Efficiency of the RELAX algorithm is illustrated by means of numerical examples and the computational complexity of the algorithm is shortly discussed.
