Let \(M(B,R)\) denote the structural matrix ring over a ring \(R\) determined by a Boolean matrix \(B\) (so that the entries of \(M(B,R)\) are \(0\) or \(R\) according as the entries of \(B\) are \(0\) or \(1\)). The authors showed in an earlier paper that if \(R\) is semi-prime left Noetherian and \(M(B_1,R)\cong M(B_2,R)\) then \(B_2\) can be obtained from \(B_1\) by performing the same permutations on its rows and columns. They also showed that the assumption that \(R\) is semi-prime can be dropped when \(R\) is commutative, but it is not known whether it can always be dropped. In this paper it is shown that if \(B_1\) and \(B_2\) are complete blocked triangular Boolean matrices and \(R\) is a left Noetherian ring such that \(M(B_1,R)\cong M(B_2,R)\) then \(B_1=B_2\).
