The authors give a general description of completely conservative schemes for the Landau-Fokker-Planck collisional operator in one- and two-dimensional cases in the velocity space. The constructed difference schemes allow to carry out numerical calculations of the relaxation problem in a large time interval without error accumulation. An illustrative example of the monoenergetic ion beam relaxation is presented.
