Let \(G\) be a compact, connected, and simply connected simple exceptional Lie group. In this note the authors calculate \(\pi_i(G:3)\), the \(3\)-primary component of \(\pi_i(G)\). The methods used are the standard methods based on killing homotopy groups and homotopy exact sequences of suitable fibrations.
