An algorithm is given for finding all solutions, \(v\), of \(f(v)+ Gv- b = 0\), where \(v\) is an \(n\)-vector, \(G\) is positive semi-definite, \(f(v)\) is a column matrix containing continuous piecewise linear functions and \(b\) is a constant column matrix. Also, four numerical examples are given. This problem occurs in solving a class of electric circuits containing linear resistors, nonlinear voltage-controlled resistors and independent and controlled sources.
