Spline approximation of advection-diffusion problems using upwind type collocation nodes (Q1807772): Difference between revisions

This paper deals with a modification of the classical spline collocation method for solving linear advection-diffusion equations where the choice of the grid depends on the differential operator. The method has stabilization effects with respect to the diffusion parameter. The algorithm is tested on model problems in 1D and 2D.
