The authors consider the difference equation \[ x(t+1)= f\bigl(x(t)\bigr)+ \varepsilon g\bigl(t,x(t), x(t+1)\bigr),\;t\geq 0, \] where \(f\) and \(g\) are continuous functions and \(\varepsilon\) is sufficiently small. The function \(f\) has an attracting cycle of length \(n\) and \(g\) is 1-periodic in \(t\). Under further conditions the existence of \(n\) asymptotically stable attracting \(n\)-periodic solutions of the difference equation is shown.
