It is proved that a linear space of functions continuous on some space \(\mathbb{R}^n\), which is closed under superposition of functions and which contains constants, linear functions and at least one nonlinear function is dense in the space of all continuous functions on \(\mathbb{R}^n\) equipped with the topology of uniform convergence on compact sets.
