Let \(G=T\oplus A\) be an arbitrary mixed split Abelian group, where \(T\) is a periodic group and \(A\) is a torsion-free Abelian group. In the article under review, the authors present a description of the center of \(\text{End }G\) in terms of some subrings of the endomorphism ring of the torsion-free subgroup \(A\).
