The authors introduce the definition of asymptotically negative association (\(\rho^-\)-mixing) which is weaker than both the strict negative association and the common \(\rho\)-mixing condition. For such sequences Rosenthal type inequalities are established which are used to prove results on complete convergence and almost sure summability.
