This paper deals with nonlinear Cauchy singular integral equations of the second kind. The singularity is a finite part. The application of a collocation method with respect to the Chebyshev nodes of the second kind with a Newton iteration is discussed. The convergence of the Newton method is based on the stability of the collocation method which is proved by using Banach algebra techniques. Numerical results are presented.
